Unforgettable lessons

By Lydia Coelho, Engaging Places advisor | 23 June 2010

Unforgettable lessons showcases 12 school projects from across England that all use buildings and places to inspire great educational experiences. Come along and see the young people’s work and find out about the many ways that teachers have been inspiring their students using the local environment.

The 12 projects have been developed through Engaging Places, by schools partnered with local cultural organisations. Together they illustrate all the benefits of using your local area to teach and learn. Showcased in two exhibitions, the projects range from Buildings and patterns, a sensory project for special needs students, to White Tower impressions, a design and technology project inspired by conservation work at the Tower of London.
