- This competition is organised by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment of 1 Kemble Street, London, WC2B 4AN ("CABE").
- To enter the competition you must submit a lesson idea which needs to be at least 150 words in length via email to rwhitty@cabe.org.uk. CABE and Engaging Places will be organising the competition. If you provide a complete lesson idea with your full name, teaching position, school name, phone number and email address you will be entered into the competition in which you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The competition will be judged by the Engaging Places team on Friday 11 December 2009. The Engaging Places team decision on the winner and runners up is final and cannot be challenged.
- The competition is open to all UK residents but not to employees of CABE or English Heritage, their friends or family, or anyone connected with the product given away as the prize. You may only submit one entry into the competition.
- The competition prize is a framed original architectural drawing from a renowned architectural practice. If you require further information on the prize you can contact Engaging Places by telephone on 020 7070 6700, or email engagingplaces@cabe.org.uk.
- A winner will be selected by judgement based on the most inspiring and creative lesson idea submitted into the competition. The selected winner will be notified and invited to accept the offered prize. If a notified winner does not respond within 10 days of notification another winner will be selected from the remaining entries and contacted as previously stated. Once a subsequent winner has been selected the previous winner's entitlement to receive a prize will end. In the unlikely event no entries are received before the closing date the prize will not be awarded.
- From the remaining entries the runners up will be selected to be published on the Engaging Places website, www.engagingplaces.org.uk
