Discovering Places events in the North West

By Lorna Maguire, Engaging Places website officer. | 21 July 2010

Discovering Places uses the power of the Games to inspire communities across the UK to celebrate both the natural and the built environment. This weekend of events offers local communities across the UK the chance to participate in the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad programme, challenging them to seek out the unfamiliar and explore something new in their everyday environment.
