Restoration country house with magnificent interiors, gardens and park. Built in 1685-88 for 'Young' Sir John Brownlow, Belton is undoubtedly one of the finest examples of Restoration country house architecture. The stunning interiors contain exceptionally fine plasterwork and wood-carving, as well as important collections of paintings, furniture, tapestries and silver. The grounds include 14 hectares (36 acres) of gardens, the Lakeside Walk, a magnificent landscaped park and the largest children's adventure playground in Lincolnshire.
