The Centre for Urban Education (CUE) was established as a partnership between Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester City Council. CUE now works with children, young people and their families and the professionals concerned with their education and care in urban environments in Greater Manchester and the North West of England.

We seek to:

Raise the aspiration and achievement of learners
Provide expertise and promote innovation in urban education
Develop urban professionals to support urban learners

We do this by promoting a positive approach to the challenges of living and learning in urban contexts. We offer opportunities in partnership with a number of other organisations including businesses and government funded bodies.
